Cotto launches flagship showroom in the Philippines in partnership with Sanitec

COTTO, together with its partner, SANITEC IMPORT VENTURES INC., recently launched its flagship showroom in the Philippines. In partnership with Real Living magazine, the grand opening of the COTTO showroom also served to highlight the brand’s ‘Pætchwork/ Collection, a special collection of magical pieces under the theme “Sophisticated Simplicity,” in collaboration with world-renowned Italian designer and a leader in the minimalism school of design, Piero Lissoni.

For many years, COTTO has reinforced its position as the world’s leading tile and sanitary wares manufacturer. The delicate designs in every detail are of high quality due in great part to the company’s comprehensive research on consumers’ uses and habits in every country, as well as leading manufacturing technology. The new showroom provides bathroom solutions and offers COTTO’s comprehensive product range for the entire bathroom with international quality and design standards.

After visiting the COTTO factory in Thailand, Lissoni’s confidence in the exceptional manufacturing quality of COTTO intensified and COTTO thus became the first Asian brand Lissoni lent his exceptional design expertise to. “We are honored to collaborate with Piero Lissoni, a living legend in Italian architecture and design, in creating the ‘Pætchwork/ Collection of distinctive tiles, sanitary wares and faucets,” stated Anuvat Chalermchai, COTTO Brand Director, SCG.

With the experience working with many world leading designers and architects, COTTO proudly presented its ‘Pætchwork/ Collection at the Grand Opening event. Created with unique sophisticated simplicity and style, the new collection perfectly marries simple looks and refined thinking for an overall unique and refreshing identity. The collection consists of tiles, sanitary wares, and faucets designed with fine patterns, delicate but sleek style that is perfect for modern, original spaces.

In perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, the ‘Pætchwork/ Collection is defined by Lissoni’s minimalist touch, in his interpretation of décor through sophisticated style. In a departure from traditional ceramic designs, the textures and colors of this collection’s tiles, sanitary wares and faucets are characterized by a modern, linear elegance. \n “It is indeed a privilege to be representing a world class brand, such as COTTO, in the Philippine market. Sanitec prides itself with partnering with world famous brands and companies and this is exactly what COTTO is. From using only the most updated manufacturing processes and equipment; to partnering with renowned designer Piero Lissoni to design its products; COTTO is the epitome of quality and aesthetics,” according to Jensen Go, Vice President Sanitec Import Ventures Inc.

“A successful cooperation is only possible with strong forged partnerships. This is what we have with COTTO and Sanitec. In the same breath, Real Living has been a strong partner and successful medium in communicating both Sanitec and COTTO to the market the products and services of both companies,” Go adds.

“Real Living, the Philippines’ best-selling home magazine, takes great pride in offering our readers, web visitors, as well as members of the architecture and design community, a highly curated array of high-quality products and services available throughout the country, and we’re honored to partner with COTTO and Sanitec to highlight COTTO’s exceptional products, which will be a perfect addition to any stylish and modern bathroom,” says Tom Castañeda, associate publisher of Real Living.

At the COTTO grand opening, classical singers from Manila String Machine serenaded the guests as they entered and toured around the new showroom, while DJs Jessica Milner and Gerard Henson closed the event with house music. Cibo di M served the sumptuous Italian-Thai fusion buffet.
